Saw the Arizona trade in another lock and added a little. Sounds like Oilers could take Cossa with their pick otherwise if he’s gone potentially trade down. Tatar I think takes a one year deal to do what Barrie did and really boost his numbers. Boninos wife is from Edmonton and he takes less money for more term and this makes McLeod earn the 3c spot. I think Kassian will bounce back or at least improve his value. Kessel probably a pipe dream but reuniting him with Bonino would make a deadly third line. Teams always take some flyers and when Vesey came out of college Oilers were in contention. DRY line gets back together too.

Defence Hjalmarson gets a lot of money for one year before he likely retires and can mentor Broberg. I’m also fine with not signing Hjalmarson and letting Koekook or signing someone else for the left side as I think the defense will still be competent. And then signing someone like McGinn instead.

Goaltending Koskinen and Holtby get fresh starts for one more year. Holt by gets a chance to be a starter and Vancouver gets another pick.

Overall I think this roster would be a cup contender primarily if Holtby bounces back.
