Sabres would want a pick I’d imagine

As a Sabre fan I'd think about it - the concept of a RD for a forward isn't bad but nothing about Bear grabs me, he's a little undersized, and none of his stats grab me in a positive way, his give away take away ratio is a little alarming.

No offense but this is a no from wild. Only way this happens is if wild 1-4 have a C core, & C depth.

Otherwise Rask while he can suck, & is very much average / serviceable, the prosecution does nothing for wild. Wild already has good young bottom c in nico sturm or connor dewar, or veterans like nick bonino or nick bjustad who will be resigned.

Otherwise Rask has 1 year left, & is more important to wild especially in trades for players like Jack eichel for fair / equal value contract going back to other teams, and or to wild until they figure out their C issues

If you take a look at the pre-pandemic season you'll see he's actually alot better than this Shortened Covid season shows, and for this trade to work, the Oilers would need to re-sign both Larsson and Barrie, if not the next best option would be Broberg, but he's a left hand shot, that would likley play behind both Dahlin AND Power(after you'd draft him)...

It would be to free up Cap Space, elevate Sturm and still have a veteran 4th line C/RW for much cheaper than Rask, understanding Rask is still serviceable is why you'd get Lagesson to play behind Suter and Brodin to help on a cheap deal to help develop as he plays a similar style to Brodin..
