Description

-Don't waste assets/prospects trying to move out (Eriksson, Beagle, Roussel) only Holtby and the Virtanen buyout is sufficient for this season. Just be patient and in one more year a whole bunch of capspace is freed up to pursue a legit top 6 winger
-Gusev brings scoring (fresh start may help bad last season) and can mentor Podkolzin and help with his transition as Podkolzin can have someone to speak russian with
-Larsson fits in for us in the perfect top 4 role, swedish, blocks shots, hits hard, can help Hughes alot
-Schneider is probably close to retiring so why not bring him home for possibly his final year in the league, very cheap, can work with Clark, gives DiPietro a full AHL season to prepare for the full jump to the NHL in 2022

Its been 5 years already, I just don't see it working out for Olli here, he's a top 10 first round and still hasn't cracked the roster. If there's another way to get this deal done that's great, but for now I think this is the only way without surrendering future assets
