No more than:
2 years for suter
3 million for casey
2 years for palmieri.
If any of these cant be fulfilled then im not interested.
And 2 years for sorokin makes no sense, you walk him right to UFA wo buying any ufa years.

We have a choice rn. We can add contracts that will become andrew ladds in a few years that will force us to enter a long rebuild, and have a little better chance rn, or we can stop giving long term deal to players 30+ yo and give out 1-2 year deals or get younger players. For example blake coleman imo would fit better with pageau than palmieri and is younger. Hes also only slightly more expensive at 4x4.5mil imo.
Suter im not really interested in tbh. I feel like with all the rumors about a "locker room cancer" plus the fact that his game is nosediving id much rather go a different direction. Theres reilly (who you signed to play 3rd pair) but theres the guy i want in this price range 4x3mil in jake mccabe.
If cizikas wants anything more than 3 let him walk. The value that you would get for keeping him over potentially a different 4C isnt worth the cap youd be using on him.
Its time to stop signing all these old players to massive contracts, its just going to hurt the team.
