I would rather keep Koskinen honestly if we are not going to get a upgrade. I think Draisaitl needs to center his own line with Nuge, and Yamamoto on his wings. Yamamoto I wouldn’t give more than 2M. I think he gets as much as Bear got 2x2. He played really good when he got called up, but last year was okay. Wouldn’t give him much, especially when Foegele is better, and he got 2.75M.

I agree with everything you said but not so much about Mikko. I think Mikko can rebound next year but the thing is we don't have more money to upgrade our defense because it's looking bad. Instead of Russell on the third pair I would bury Turris, Russell and send Lagesson to the AHL to give the third pair spot to Koekkoek. I think he can be a decent mentor to Bouchard and if Barrie doesn't play well on the first pair, You can pair him up with Koekkkoek because in the playoffs those two played very well together

They definitely did, but Russell is older, and more experienced. I think putting a defensive guy like him with Bouchard would be better. He could get him ready for the top 4 in a few years. We don’t need to upgrade our defence this year, we need a goalie, and if we don’t get a upgrade, I think Koskinen for one year is good enough to backup Smith.
