Jim has recently made some good/ still to be questioned moves. The team is still finding their identity, but for certain the moves he made this off-season were to correct previous mistakes he made...you know two negatives equal a positive.

This team represents what could have been if better decisions were made along the way. I know the dollar amounts are still off. I welcome suggestions. In this team, keeping Markstrom would have meant having Demko in a bridge deal for 3 or 4 years at a lower salary contract ($3.5 mil) and treating them as a 1a/b situation.

This team still is lacking a strong 4th line centre w/o Sutter, and I would argue maybe 3rd line centre too, but still giving Dickinson time to adjust. Defence is way stronger. Huggy Bear jives with Daddy Tanev. The team is also still missing an edge, they need some size, muscle and grit...push themselves around a little more...especially having someone with Petterson that can help him with that.

Why in the LIVING %)(*&$ is Benning not grabbing guys off waivers. I mean this season alone we lost Gadjovich and MacEwan...WTF. Plus Lind....like we lost our youth and upcomers for ZERO. He should have dabbed Alex Barre-Boulet and Cale Fleury.
