1st Round Draft Picks:

2022 1st Round Pick (MTL) is used to select F Shane Wright (returned to Kingston for D+1); however, if Montreal gets a pick from 2-5, this is the order of preference: Savoie, Cooley, Slafkovsky, Lambert. I'm still not confident we'll win the draft lottery, so I think we'll fall between 3-5.

2022 1st Round Pick (CGY) is used to select D Ty Nelson (returned to NB for D+1)

2023 1st Round Pick (MTL) is used to select F Adam Fantilli (returned to Michigan for D+1)

2023 1st Round Pick (FLA) is used to select a RD (could someone provide a potential player to select?)

Most of Bergevin's signings in the 2021 Offseason were nightmares and knee jerk reactions to try and keep his team together. Hughes is going to have a difficult time trying to move some of them and stockpiling as many draft picks as possible will help.
