I get what you're trying to do but signing both Forsberg and Giroux would put you in a world of hurt cap wise, when Stutzle comes up with Pinto and then Sanderson and Greig the following years.

Teams that want to win need to spend to the cap and have some tolerance for salary cap gymnastics.

We haven't been a competitive team for the last 5 years or so.

That needs to change.
