I'm not super familiar with the value of players from other teams cause I really only see them a couple of times a season so I'm going to stick to what I'm more familiar with and that's the habs and the players currently on the team (I only really did players who were on the team last year for some time only Laval Player I did was Primeau because the habs want to keep him around at lest)

Primeau (3 years- >975k): As stated above the likely next goalie for Montreal (that at least is how the team sees it [it's him, Dobes or a 3rd outside option IMO]) so sign him for an amount that doesn't affect the NHL cap and give him another year or 2 before calling him up and then look at what to give him then.

Tyler Pitlick (1 year- 800k): Tyler was fine this might be a bit more jokey of a signing here cause I like having all 3 of the Pitlicks in the org but I also wouldn't mind keeping him around as a 13th forward and as a vet on a team that should be young

Schueneman (2 years- 860k): Shoe was solid last year he looked like he belonged in a bottom 4 role he was good with very few noteworthy mistakes let him have a second season with Montreal and look to potentially move him for a 5th or 6th for a team looking for a good player to sure up their bottom pair or add a solid 7th D.

Pezzetta (2years- 900k): Pez was always playing his hardest every shift and was the player used to protect the stars he was willing to stand up for his teammates and played very well for a 4th liner on the worst team in the league he's worth keeping around for a 4th line spot if just for his fantastic flow.

Montembeault (2 years- 1mil): With the uncertainty in Price's future, keeping Monty around hopefully to protect Primeau from playing for the next 2 seasons seems like the best choice to make.

Rem Pitlick (2 years- 2.5 mil): Rem was great last year if his shooting percentage wasn't as high I would potentially make a larger offer but if Rem can Produce like he did last season having him next to Wright will look great and id be willing to extend a longer contract but for now I need to see more so a 2-year prove-it deal seems fine to me.

Romanov (5 years- 4.225 mil): If this is an overpayment that will be because of bias as he's my favourite player but he also proved to be a top 4 defenseman or better this season from the game Ducharme Scratched him until Petry decided he wanted to be good again Romy was our best defenseman and once Petry was good again he was still playing the most minutes Romy is one of the 2 players I'm most confident about being on the left of our future D core so I'm willing to pay more to keep him for sure for longer, however, I'm aware having a contract end when he's 27 isn't ideal so I'd also be willing to do a bridge to 24 so we can sign him longer while he is still an RFA if Romy wanted a long contract now that is what I would offer.

Other players, I would potentially bring back for under 1 mil
Dauphin, Perrault: both players were fine might as well keep them around in case of injury or if we need to fill a spot after trading a player away.
