Description

Barrie trade is self explanatory

Kane contract was reported by an oilers insider

JP's contract I based off Jordan Kyrou's deal he signed. Similar age, potential and stats at the time.

Yams deal I based off Anthony Duclair's deal. Again similar age, potential and stats at the time of signing.

Signed Kuzmenko to one year deal, I guess he wants to play in Edmonton or Vancouver.

If Kuzmenko doesn't sign I could see that spot going to Holloway or Petrov. I would prefer to give Holloway one more year in the AHL first. Petrov I haven't seen play but put up really good numbers in the OHL this year.

Kassian's buyout is cheap this year, they should take advantage of that. Next year it costs more but Sekera and Lucic dead cap comes off the books.

Have to run a 22 man roster quick is no ideal. They might be able to save a little bit on JP and Yams deals, maybe Kane as well. They could also trade Ryan for a cheaper player to save some money.

Brassard signing could be any cheap depth option for them, either internally or free agent.

Can't see them acquiring a better goaltender this offseason, have to run Smith and Skinner and hope Skinner takes a step forward.

17M in cap space next season to address goaltender, if needed, and sign Bouchard, Mcleod and fill out the roster.
