The Flames will be fine against the Cap after signing Mangiapane and Kylington due to Chris Tanev going to LTIR most likely to start the season (if they need it).
The pairings on D will be need to be settled but the easy initial solution is to drop Weegar right into Tanev's spot until he returns healthy then figure it out from there.
Huberdeau becomes the new "Jon Hockey". Blake Coleman, Dillon Dube, and Adam Ruzicka will get the shot at the top line RW spot to fill Tkachuk's skates.
If Monahan is healthy then he slots in as the 3C with the other top 9 forwards after the above is settled.
If Pelletier and Zary can push for a roster spot that would be very interesting; Pelletier probably has the inside track but it's a tough group to crack for a skilled but small winger.
