Description
I feel like Nashville is in an odd place because they are good enough to make the playoffs but they aren’t good enough to win the cup and they have been like that for a while and I feel like they haven’t done enough to change that. Their goaltending is solid for a long time with Saros now and Askarov. Their Defense is pretty strong like always, especially that left side. But they are definitely weaker at forward. If they want to compete for the cup they need to get another Top line forward, a couple middle six forwards, and just improve their forward depth. The Ardvisson trade was awful. I think Nashville has 2 options stay the course and have regular season success and early playoff exits to have some success, this will get them mid 1st round picks which will allow them to build their prospect pool while being somewhat successful and they can go from this stage to contender in a 3-4 years. Or they could make some trades and trade Defense for offense to even it out. Also sign some players next year. Overall, this year I see the same as the last few years, regular season success and maybe 1st or 2nd round exit. But I do like Nashville and I hope they figure it out because it would be cool to see such a passionate fan base get a cup
