I think its way too early to predict what our top 6 looks like even by the end of this year.
Any of the top 6 wingers could wind up flanking either Monahan or Bennett, and its going to depend on chemistry.
We know Johnny-Monahan-Hudler worked wonders.
We don't know how Bennett will play with anyone in the long term. There just isn't enough sample size to know who he gels with as a centerman yet. And that's where we start having to figure out how to juggle.
Johnny will play left wing, Frolick will play right wing. Both Hudler and Ferland can play either RW or LW and I expect we're going to see a lot of juggling for the first 2 or 3 months of those players.
Monahan and Frolick seem to drive possession among the top 6, so ideally I see them on different lines. But if Hudler plays best with Johnny and Bennett, then we go to a possession line and scoring line as our top 6 rather than a more balanced attack.
Only time will tell. The good news is all 6 are capable (in theory) of 20 goals (Ferland the only one who might not reach that plateau) and 4 of them are capable of 30. So that's a pretty powerful set of possibilities.
