Description
A scenario where Hextall acquires someone who can play 3C for the rest of season so Carter can move to RW. This also keeps Blueger at 4C which is more suited for him.

It would be nice to see Kapanen next to a center who's not Carter or Blueger as well.

Heinen, who seems to have been the odd man out a lot this season, is sent down on waivers to create space for this trade and is likely claimed with his affordable contract.

Acciari is barely an upgrade over Carter. The difference between them is so insignificant, this trade is pointless.

Maybe. I think Acciari has had a quietly good season for St. Louis. I could see him doing well in Pittsburgh.

Penguins have reached the point to where Carter can't be 3C and the answer isn't Blueger for the rest of the season.

Acciari isn't the answer either. The answer is a guy who can control possession while he's on the ice, Acciari isn't that.
