Here is what I would do during the offseason. Cap space is very tight right now and it looks as if the price to dump players is currently very high. Therefore I would wait for prices to drop and sign my RFAs to one year deals.
Kopitars contract expires after this season and then there will be enough cap space to sign everyone to long term deals.
Gavrikov filled a gaping whole on LD2 and therefore he should be resigned. I don't like these everlasting deals because they almost never age well. But that is the only way to keep in the fold.
Goaltending is the obvious weakness of this team, but I would roll the dice with Copley and see if Petersen rebound in some way.
After Petersens bonus has been paid and also some of his salary maybe his contract can be moved easier inn case he cannot rebound.
I have 15 forwards on the active roster because there almost always is someone who enters the season on IR. That would solve that problem or Turcotte gets demoted. If he or another rookie makes the team I would move Grundström for that 3rd round pick (I just picked Arizona as a placeholder destination).
I am toying with the idea to move Arivdsson to clear cap, add assets and give his ice time to Arthur Kaliyev. It is swim or sink time for him but he needs a really good camp to do such a bold move.
With the gained cap space I would trade for a goaltender to split duties with Copley
