If Craig smith is on the first line over Laffy and Kakko, then Lavi should be fired

Laffy and Kakko would still be top 6 more about keeping the kid line together and hopefully you get a RW upgrade at the deadline

I like the kid line, but it doesn’t feel like they score that much. All 3 seems to pass the puck instead of pulling the trigger

I feel like all 3 of them defer once they get put up with the vets, but the real difference for the kids is gonna be whether they get meaningful PP time or not. I’d keep the kids together and would like to see Kreider and Trocheck put together to form somewhat of a shutdown line that can also chip in offensively. I’ll admit Craig Smith isn’t exciting but he has history with Lavy, has been a decent scorer at 5v5 in his career and hopefully we’d be able to upgrade RW1 at the deadline.

Panarin definitely needs someone to do the dirty work on his line, not a flashy name. Like Fast or vesey wasn’t bad with him or Copp
