Patty starts out on IR or LTIR so MF extension can be in the 2.3 neighborhood. If that happens, there would need to be a trade before Patty could be activated, if Mantha and/or Kuzy rebound to start the season they might be easier to move at that point.

Frustrating that we still can't find a way to give McMichael a real shot at center, but the Backstrom and Kuznetsov situations are what they are. Just have to cross our fingers and hope that after the Lindholm/Backlund/Schiefele situations get sorted out there's still a team or two needing a top 6 C.

The NAK extension is also looking pretty dumb with how crowded the roster is. Giving 4th line wingers contracts for more than 1M has never made sense to me.
