Unless Perfetti plays 82 games plus playoffs *at centre* and gets 70 points, there's no chance he gets $7m. As of right now I'm wanting him for 5.7m-ish on a long-term deal, willing to go to $6M for eight years. Or, we're bridging him for cheap to see if he can be a centre long-term. Health is still a huge concern with Perfetti, and tying up $7m of cap for a guy who might only be able to play 60ish games a year and isnt around for the playoffs half the time is not super advisable.
