Description
If Carey Price goes into IN-SEASON LTIR, it is much more useful for the Habs.

Habs just waived Armia. My guess is that no other team will pick him up. Obviously.
Chris Wideman has not even started to skate, so he can easily go on LTIR right now.
Since you need a roster with a minimum of 20 players - ON PAPER - before Monday 5pm,

I believe that Habs will send down to AHL (ON PAPER):
- Slaf
- RHP
- Harris

As soon as Tuesday, the Habs will then place Carey Price on IN-SEASON LTIR, and call back those 3 guys.

As for opening night, RHP can get RW1. Slaf can get LW2. And Harris LD3.

This is the right call. While the vets won't like it, it will send an important message to Gallagher, Pearson, Savard, and others. Put in the work, or we send you down.

Armia has 1 season in the AHL now to prove his NHL career isn't over. He's got the talent, but he does not like to put in the work.

I will never understand why Savard name is out there from some fans. The guy is playing against top line, and while being overworked, he isn’t brutal. Imagine Harris/Xhekaj against other teams top line 💀 only Matheson Guhle can & maybe Kovacevic because he’s ****ing big

About time !!!!!!! Yes.

Now, it's going to be even easier to get under the cap BEFORE putting Price on LTIR, giving the Habs even more flexibility during the season.

Ylonen and Primeau needed to be on waivers today so they both are on the opening day lineup.
So 2 more guys need to be off the team.
Heineman is now officially going to be sent down since he's lost the spot with Ylonen (normal since he's waiver exempt).

It's between Barron and Norlinder.

What's your choice?

For me, I would send down Barron. His camp/pre-season was not good. Based on merit, Norlinder makes the cut.

Amen.
Savard does NOT suck as some fans make him out to be.
