IMO they should not split up Smith and Malkin. Those two have been really good so far. I would say the same for Crosby and Guentzel

i would say the same but we've played so pathetic that we shouldn't rule anything out. What i think is that smith has proven that he can be a good finisher, which is exactly what crosby needs,

While that makes sense, I wouldn't mess with that chemistry though. Plus Guentzel has proven he can be a goalscorer, it is just taking him a bit to find that touch this year. I think they should just give it a bit of time before making huge changes (should probably keep testing combos with the bottoms six though)
