Description
Been a while since I have been on this site!
This roster is projected to be 2 years from now. I am assuming Slafkovsky follows a Byfield type growth and becomes a legit 35 to 40 goal scorer, 75 to 80 point player, dach grows based on what he has shown so far, hutson is legit legit and Reichbacher comes over.

I'm sttill pretty pissed at the 2022 and 2023 1st round picks for the Habs................ so winning the 20024 lottery (highly unlikely, let's be honest), would be INCREDIBLE.

For that lineup though, I would have Dach at center as well.
Dach - Suzuki - Celebrini - Beck as centers.

But your lineup looks great!!

I'll do one lineup for 2025-26 following yours.

yeah im kinda bummed out, but to be fair, im okay with being patient. even if that means losing another season or 2 to build properly and grab another top 5 pick. i'd love to see your line up! the 3 center idea aint bad. im just excited about the depth. i still rmr david desharnais (god bless him ) as our number 1 center LOL so im very happy with what the future holds.

I just did my lineup... and it's frankly disappointing lol

Yeah exactly, having 3 solid centers could be a first in a long time.

Who "should" they have taken in 2022?

I'm more pissed that the 2022 draft didn't have a whole lot of quality. In my case, I was actually high on Cooley, not kidding. I was NOT on the Wright train. And when they picked Slaf, I was actually happy they didn't pick Wright... but I remember being a little disappointed that they had passed on him.

Byt for the 2023 draft, with 4 - FOUR !!!!! - solid centers in the top-4, and Habs actually having the 31st AND 37th pick, I would have put up a HUGE package (who gives a flying FFF at some point of having WAAAAAAY too many picks) and packaged the 5th, 31st, 37th AND a 3rd round pick, just to move 1, 2 or 3 spots. And then pick Fantilli, Carlson or Smith.

But that's just me.

I'm more pissed that the 2022 draft wasn't the 2023 or 2024 one in terms of talent...... Habs were picking 1st OA for the first tie in a while... and it had to come at a down year in terms of talent...
