Description

It's just a look at the lineup potential IF the Habs were to win the Celebrini derby - it's highky unlikely Habs win the lottery !!! I know that !!!

Also, Gallagher, Anderson, and Matheson (and Primeau?) will probably not be in the lineup at that point, regardless of how that happened - again, not the point of this thread.

With this lineup, which won't happen like this, here are 3 observations:

D- with Matheson still available, Mailloux, Engstrom, etc, Habs have a good chance of having a SOLID d-core.
G- this is only based on Fowler's start of NCAA career, so things can easily go sideways, but he could end up being the Habs starting goaltender in 2 full seasons.
F- this is where there is a total absence of sheer superstar talent. Unless Habs draft Celebrini - which is highly unlikely - that forward group is really, really bad. There needs to be SUPERSTAR talent there. Even with 29 players on the roster, Habs would still have 7m AAV to play with here.
