I think Columbus is a good landing spot for Duchene. He makes them very strong down the middle with duchene/wennberg/dubinsky. They have the defensive depth to do it, and they are trying to win now, they can afford to move a pick.

I would like to see Duchene in Columbus as well. The only issue I have with this trade is the inclusion of Bigras on the Avs side. He is a solid D prospect that the Avs so desperately need and I'm willing to bet he finishes the year with the Avs. I would rather include comeau or colbourne with salary retained.
