offseason reassesment

I think in general this team is exactly where it was last offseason. No need to strip everything for parts but be willing to move someone if a good offer comes along (Orlov) and be willing to spend for younger talent (Strome, Sandin). My offseason priorities in order:
1) Sign a truly elite forward, either Reinhart or Nylander. Don't care if you have to overpay, give them offers they can't refuse, you have the space.
2) Move on from Kuzy any way you can. A buyout becomes not terrible this summer and I would use it if nothing else comes up.
3) Bridge Sandin, McM, Protas -- if any of them play so well that a bridge becomes a bad idea, that's a champagne problem for this team.
4) Consolidate the blue line. You have a bunch of OK to good guys (Sandin, Fehervary, TVR, Jensen, Bear) but no real #2. Once again they have the assets, make a run at Skjei/Pesce/Hanifin and trade one or two of those other guys for a forward.
5) Save spots for 2 of Lappiere/Miro/Leonard. Lappy and Miro have looked like they belong this year (to my own surprise!). Let them fight it out in camp.
6) Try to get clarity on Oshie -- I honestly think the org is trying to get him to 1k games then shut him down -- if he isn't LTIRetired find a way to get off the money some other way.
