timeline is win now so he fits, youre under rating his defensive game, and everyone said Kane was too old for the Sabres and now hes a PPG player again that the Sabres could have desperately used

We are trying to win now AND in the future though
Carlson isn’t the missing piece,
and we need someone who can be with us long enough for the kids to grow & develop around him
Carlson doesn’t have much time left
And he’ll never be the “shutdown” type defenseman we need

Provides no physical play either
He’s not the right target
Especially not for Mitts- come on now
