I would be shocked if they aren’t running with Ersson/Fedotov next year. I don’t think Zamula gets more than a late rounder. I doubt someone takes Nick I would just keep him as a scratch and play occasionally than retain when you probably have to retain to get Atkinson out

Would be extremely disappointed with this outcome. For a team that just had a superstar Center prospect demand a trade and their star young Goalie leave due to criminal charges at the beginning of a rebuild, I'd really, really hope Briere would be more aggressive in trying to put this team on a better course for the future than the offseason you outlined here

Yeah I can see the argument against retaining for two years. Zamula I think will be dependent on the team we trade him to. Atkinson I think would fetch a mid round deadline pick, which is fair. The backup goalie situation is interesting, as I do feel they’d like an established guy but Fedotov does kinda deserve a crack at a NHL job after what he’s been through.
