Guerin isn't dealing Middleton for POJ and a 3rd.

In fact, it sounds like an extension with him is all but done this summer.

I saw the Russo bit about the Middleton extension too. Isn't that just locking up a guy that could be a valuable trade chip at the deadline if the Wild don't make the playoffs much like locking up 17, 36, 38 before this season that drew so much criticism?

Appreciate the shoutout my guy ahahaha. The Middleton trade is just because I think he fits super well and it might be time to move on from PO. That totally leaves out the Wild element, wasn’t sure if there were extension talks or not with them, because I know they really like him. Just my two cents 🙌

I'm pretty sure the whole penguins fan base is in agreement when it comes to the fact that Jake is not worth 7x10.
We don't need to carry that while rebuilding. It will be better to use that cap space in a rebuilding process later on short term cap dumps to acquire assets.
