Through bad trades and signings this team has backed themselves into a corner.
With the current roster make-up, they have no defencemen that are able to really control the game. Weber excels when paired with a good puck mover (Josi, Markov) but MB has made sure to remove all players and prospects that specialize in that aspect from this organization.
The serious lack of Forward depth will lose games even when Price is playing like himself. There isn’t enough in the prospect pool to make enough of an impact for Prices prime.

I, personally do not like the Canadiens but Carey Price definitely deserves better than this. I will always feel bad for high caliber players that lose their prime to a bad team because of poor management.
