Probably from a playoff team, because that’s where he’d want to go and this League’s about more than just business, Chicago would probably need to retain his salary if possible, but they could give a 1st+a Grade B prospect, maybe. If the team needs to even out the Salary, they can throw in a cap dump player with a little extra pick.

As a Hawks fan, I really don’t think we are gonna trade him for picks. The Hawks are already rebuilding whether people realize it or not. The only people that are on that team that are above like 28 is the core and Wingels/Bouma. Okay, sharp too but he isn’t playing. I think we’d move him for a slightly worse roster player, a mid prospect/Pick, and a 1st. A trade for Saad really depends on if he bounces back next year. So the trade I proposed is if he does. But if he doesn’t, and the team doesn’t bounce back, then I could see just trading for picks. But as I said, if he bounces back, a pretty decent replacement will be needed.
