I could be wrong but from my understanding Mrazek is a RFA so he would have to get an Initial qualifying offer of at least 4 million per or be a free agent. I doubt he would pay a 50% pay cut. Someone please advise? Also, I don't think there is anyway Myers doesn't make this team over Morin if he is healthy. Will be interesting to see if Frost makes the team as he has nothing left to prove and can't go to the AHL. I would love to get 1 more middle 6 F, it would give our F's so much depth by moving Raffl/Weiss/Wea with Laughton to the 4th line. Its comforting to say the future is bright

The 4 mil is the qualifying offer they need to make to retain his rights as an RFA. If I understand the rule correctly, that doesn't automatically mean he his making 4 mil next season.

As for Myers and Frost, I think Myers has a better chance to make it. Frost might be lighting the world on fire, but I think (personally) he needs a little more muscle. Plus he's probably be a winger to start, and I personally want to keep him at center next season.

All in all, I agree that the future is bright
