2019-20 Oilers Finally Contenders?

Going into the 2019-20 season:
Oilers top 6 forwards are all capable of putting up well over 20+ goals.
Oilers have a core that are all in their prime.
Over 10m in cap space (if the cap raises to projections) and draft picks to bring in free agents for a cup run this year depending on where our weakness is.
I know this is assuming that Jones and Bear are ready for the show in 2019-2020 to replace Sekera and Russell, but I think we give them a chance to develop, and don't trade players prospects or picks until we know we need to.
Fingers crossed Sekera bounces back and becomes worth something to a team!

What do you think about Evander Kane as an option for Connor McDavid's LW? I like that he's younger than JVR/Hoffman, faster than Maroon, but is still big mean and hopefully would protect McDavid. His off ice baggage and being injury prone makes it a risk but that may allow us to sign him for 6x6m.

Lets make the massive McD and Drai contracts count and get the most ice time out of them as possible.
