RNH is on a 29 goal pace this season, can play center, should be able to consistently put up 25+ goals on Drai or McD's LW, and is 24. Scouts say Jones has potential to be a puck moving top 4D. Patches is 29, not having a good year, and probably wants a long term deal at atleast 6m per year. Maybe he can put up 30+ goals again for another year or two on Drai or McD's line? but what about at the end of his contract? Not a good deal for Edmonton in my opinion. PLUS, if McD or Drai gets hurt, RNH being able to play top 6 center could cover well.

What's with all these Montreal fans making weird trades for rnh and draisaitl. LoL.. It's our one position of strength. I don't think it's best to trade from the only thing we got going on.

As for patches. Don't need a heartless American, when we drove a heartless Canadian out.
