Description
Isles are looking at the 10th and 13th overall picks this year, unless something crazy happens

They have pretty simple and attainable needs for next season.
1) A Top 4 Defenseman
2) Depth Scoring/Defense
3) Short Term Goaltending

They already have a solid prospect pool of defenseman in Aho, Toews, Wotherspoon, Quenneville, Vande Sompel, Mirageas and Salo
They could use upgrades in forwards though as the top Isles prospects there are Bellows, Koivula, Golyshev, Durandeau and Dal Colle

So if Garth, or hopefully the new GM come next year, doesn't trade the picks I'm looking at them taking two of Wahlstrom, Kupari, Lundestrom, Bokk or Dobson. But realistically I'm hoping they end up trading one for some help

- I think it's 50/50 with Tavares at this point but obviously would be stupid not to resign him
- Give Pulock a bridge deal, he's proven a lot this year but has only played 69 (nice) NHL games
- Davidson's been a rock defensively for the Isles so far so I'd give him a bridge deal as well
- Don't resign Hickey, Nelson, De Haan, Seidenberg, Prince, Kulemin and Halak
- Hope a team offer sheets Nelson, consistent 20 goal guy, can't see at least one team not willing to pay $3.5+ for that
- I'd just bury Pelech in the AHL, he's not good enough to play consistent NHL minutes and I'd much rather Mayfield be the 7th D-Man than him
- Derek Ryan signing is just hoping that Carolina lets him walk, he's a fantastic 4th line center
- Goaltending wise I think the Isles are in average shape, they just need to sign a 1B to go along with Greiss who I can't imagine plays as bad as he did this year
- Tanev deal is to solidify the defense, left side is notably weaker than the right but I think they could all be compliments to each other. Also as far as the trade goes I've seen so may different values for Tanev so don't kill me

Overall
- Isles don't resign any dead weight
- Shore up the goaltending until Soderstrom and Sorokin are ready
- Fix the Bottom 6 issues by playing Ho-Sang full time, dropping Beau to the 3rd for added scoring and the signing of Ryan, a great defensive player
- Add a Top 4 defenseman they need so desperately

They just need Goaltending in general! I like Tavares’ extension, and the trades arent too far off.

Yeah I know, I cant see them ponying up to pay for a goalie with Soderstrom and Sorokin on their way. So I figured the most likely scenario is signing a 1B guy then looking forward to 2019-2020 when Soderstrom should be ready and 2020-2021 when Sorokin will most likely come over

I like this and your whole thought process. I feel the same way in regards to Tanev, I have absolutely no idea what a fair value would be.

    Good job.
