I wouldn’t buyout Pominville simply because his contract is short. He can b a good rental for a playoff team, and u could get something good in return based on overpays for rentals and Pominville’s performance (hopefully he performs well next year). U can retain on him to make it better for the other team, and then u don’t need to buy him out.

Why would JVR go to a bottom team like Buffalo? I just don't see that happening

Olofsson makes Nylander disposable IMHO, better to get a R sided d-man with upside and offensive game. Rutta out of Chicago was an option until they seemed to commit to keeping him.

D: Guhle becomes 7th man and starts working in with the team. Scandella is gone in 2 and Guhle needs to be my guy to take the second pairing spot when Dahlin is ready to move up. I'd also look to package my two 4's this year to get back into the early 3rd and grab Filip Johannson.

G: Lehner buys me a year to see Ullmark without commitment.

F: JvR is the scoring machine Eichel needs next to him. Reinhart should easily score 60 just picking scraps and dealing A's. The second line can do damage if Okposo snaps out of it...if not, it is a shutdown matchup in the image of the old Drury/Grier image. The third line is built to abuse lesser depth. Vanek is cheap with a couple of 20 goal seasons left in the tank, Bailey/Baptiste finally get a chance to compete for a prime spot.
