Description

Nashville may not need Lovejoy, but I feel a 3rd pairing or him and Emelin could be a great shut down group. Cap wise, Lovejoy only has one year left.

Personally, I don’t think the Devils will sign Tavares, as they have to resign Hall and Hischier in 2 years, and he’s just too expensive. I think Paul Stastny would be a good fit for those 2 years, but they’d have to overpay just to get him, let alone only for 2 years. Most Free Agents like him will want 4-5 years, to ensure a good final payment. And let’s be real, teams will pay it. Look at Lucic and Eriksson.
