Description
Saw an article where they had Boston as an option for him...It can be found on THN. Now, I believe they were just looking at some teams, based on the report that Kovalchuk is looking for a shorter term deal and a chance at a Cup. Boston fits that mantra.

Just wanted to see a possible lineup with Kovalchuk, after reading that article. This isn't based off a rumor that they're even interested. If he were to come here, you add a big winger with skill on a short term deal. That top 6 is sharp looking. You have cap space to go out and make moves at the TDL if you need to upgrade a spot, like 3LC. This is obviously based off of Donato (or Heinen, or even Backes) making the transition to center. Czarnik is signed to a 1Y, one-way contract, and he also has some center experience. Johansson is more of a place-holder as a 7th defenseman. I'd expect Boston to sign someone with more experience, but I didn't see anyone who stood out.

Also, Bruins have room to go out and upgrade the defense if they prefer.
