Description

I know Lindholm is a center but Calgary NEEDS a right handed top line winger so I plugged him in there. I bring in Derek Ryan as he played under Peters last year. Also brought in Vanek because he proved he's still a decent secondary scoring option and he's right handed so that helps Calgary. Defensively no major changes and start to bring up the younger players like Andersson. Lastly with Smith being old and injury prone, a solid back up goaltender is a must. So I opted for Hutton. On paper this team should make the playoffs and maybe win 1 playoff series if everyone remains healthy. But you also have Mike Smith in net so injuries are pretty much guaranteed and last year's team on paper was also good enough to make the playoffs and look how that ended up. It ended up with New York getting a great prospect in Dobson.
