Description

Correct the trade values and contracts because I must be far off.

They lack puck moving D and although Hickey is weak, he still improves the Habs and is one of the only available puck moving UFAs.... maybe take a flyer on Enstrom, could be sneaky pickup even though his best years are far behind him now.

Sure you could get higher picks for Schlemko and Benn, both are well respected 3rd pairs on reasonable contracts.

But, more interestingly, those seem like fairly good trades and signings IMO but I still doubt this is a playoff team, and whats the point wasting a year of Price and Weber at win-now stages of their careers to be competitive but miss the playoffs? I think your lineup kinda proves that this franchise needs a big direction change.

In terms of value, that’s more than fair to Buffalo. I am not a fan of the Mete idea bc BUF blueline is jam packed with LHD. Would you do next years first, Danault, lehkonen and a late pick?
