I don't really see where he'd fit into the Top 9 and I don't really see the point in just giving a player like him 10-12 minutes a game on the 4th line with depth wingers. Would make more sense to bring him in next year if/when the team moves on from Maroon or Fabbri.

I think it would make less sense to send the best player in the OHL back to juniors for another year. I think hell start as the 4c, but move up. Doug Armstrong said he sees Thomas centering ROR and Tarasenko by Christmas.

This is assuming there are no injuries, obviously there will be at some point. When that happens, Maroon and Fabbri can comfortably slide into the top 9.
