Why Burrows on the 4th?

Well, you buried Anton Rodin who just signed with the team, ostensibly, to play in the NHL not on Utica. You also buried Higgins who is likely to get bought out. Okposo could sign here and I admit $6 million plus seems about what he'll get on the open market. My gut instinct tells me he'll sign for even more, but you're right... Okposo would be a nice fit with the Sedins if the team can get him. Everyone is assuming Hamhuis is going to take a haircut re-signing for Vancouver, but I'm not su sure about getting him at lower than what you pay Sbisa. I think no way Hamhuis signs for anything less than what he already makes, as he's still in form, and I'm not sure that another team won't test him out for upwards of $5.5 million a year. He's worth it. Anyway, it's clear Rodin is going to play on this team next season, and a buyout for the services of HIggy or even Burrows is entirely within the realm of possibility, In theory, Okposo would look good on the Canucks, that I can agree with.
