Why not put Virtanen on Horvat's wing? He's done everything to earn in but Travis Green keeps holding him down and having him play among the least amount of minutes on the team.

Virtanen hasn’t been held down or played the least amount of minutes. He’s actually seen an increased responsibility.

He has good chemistry with Gaudette so I wanted to keep that together. Having two zone entry players in Horvat and Virtanen on the same line doesn’t make sense at current moment either IMO.

The Horvat line is now more of a defensive group after the Sutter and Beagle injuries, and while Virtanen’s line is pretty decent defensively, I also want him in more of a role where he can score.

The stats absolutely disagree with you. Jake Virtanen is ranked 4th lowest on the team in average ice time. The only ones below him are Archi, Gaudette and Roussel. He is getting shafted when it comes to ice time. Also what's wrong with two zone entry guys on one line? Whoever has the puck can just be the guy to enter the zone. I do agree with your last statement though, but it took a while for Green to realize it since he might be a bit slow. In the first period of the Arizona game Green barely played the Gaudette line (with Virtanen and Archi). Then in the second period the line scored he was like "oh this line can score" herpdy derp, I guess I should play them more". So in the third and second period they saw an increase in play time.
