Description

The NHL has predicted revenue between 4.5 - 5 billion during the 2017-2018 season. This would mean the conservative number for the cap would be 80 million. However I will be even more conservative at 78 hoping the cap will be 81mil during the 2019-2020 season.

Things that have to happen to be able to resign Lee and Eberle:

Hickey must sign an extension at the same price. (Has had a bad season* Probable)

Trade for galchenyuk to get worth for Nelson, Dal Colle, and Dehaan before losing them.

Lose Halak, Seidenburg, Kulemin, and Chimera Contracts

Sign all the Future D-men.

If the cap reaches the projected 80mil you will have enough to sign Lee and Eberle.

***2021*** You can choose to buyout Andrew Ladd if you think you can resign Alex Galchenyuk. If not losing him to resign Barzal and Bellows would be worth it.
