Description
Including deadline deals from this year and drafting Brady Tkachuk at 2018 draft

Tavares signing was just something I threw in because why not.
If not maybe target Stastny or Thornton
Or perhaps Robert thomas as the #2/3 centre

As mentioned in the trade description, I saw something similar to the O'reilly trade posted by a Sabres fan.
If that's not realistic, maybe something built around Galchenyuk+ might be more realistic. Obviously not trading him is the preference, but if we can sign Tavares, I don't think anyone would mind. If no Tavares, then I'd be more reluctant to give up Galchenyuk

Pavalec can be replaced by another less costly backup. But when the team is so heavily invested in Price, both in terms of cap hit and on ice performance, it's important to have a capable backup

OK I'm gonna write this again...Alzner when signed became over payed because he was expected to do too much. That is where all the hate is coming from. He is a serviceable 4th D but needs a decent partner with him. Look back at WAS and he was good. Petry just isn't that guy. Alzner even while over payed has valud, retaim say 1 million and get probably a 2nd or 3rd back.

I also don't see players who are traded away as rentals to come back as UFAs. Most likely not enough return for patches and if going by BUF fans, not enough for O'Reilly

I agree that he is a serviceable defenceman, but a #4 at best and I simply believe that the cap space is more valuable. the way I did the trade was more to signify that I'd be willing to give something up to not retain salary.

Plekanec has said he wants to retire a Hab, and Deslauriers was born here and has said he loves playing here.
As far as the St Louis trade goes, I was thinking add in a 1st or second or, ideally Kyrou, but judging by the views of the St Louis fans on this site seems they'd be reluctant enough to give up both Thomas and Dunn
