    NYI
Barzal doesn't even live with Seidenberg anymore so there is literally no other reason to have him on the roster.
      3.
      NYI
      1. Martin, Matt ($1,125,000 retained)
      Additional Details:
Brings Matt back to NY and reunites the "best fourth line ever"
      TOR
      1. Chimera, Jason ($1,125,000 retained)
      2. 2018 4th round pick (NYI)
      Additional Details:
Doesn't impact TOR's ability to make another move for this year. Gets them off the hook of 55% of Martin's contract in years thereafter. Chimera gets one last chance at a cup and brings some speed to Babcock's lineup. I guess the pick could become a 3rd with some conditions, but it's no worth than a 4th.
      4.
      NYI
      1. Brassard, Derick ($1,000,000 retained)
      Additional Details:
      Isles strengthen 3C
      OTT
      1. Nelson, Brock
      2. 2018 3rd round pick (NYI)
      Additional Details:
OTT still saves a little cash and gets younger. 3rd becomes a 2nd if the Isles win a round and Brassard plays in 4 games of that series.

TML will give you Martin for Chimera straight up with no retension, and even toss in a 7th to grease the deal.
I really like Martin, but we have a depth problem that has sadly caused him to fall out of the line up. $2.5M to sit in the press box is not fair to either MM or the leafs.

I bet you would lol. I wouldn't want to pay Martin his full cap hit either. Isles wouldn't do it the way you offered. At least with mine here its paid out in the Leafs favor only owing 45%.

I totally agree with you, but your deal isn't any better for TML, which was the point I was trying to make. I would keep MM for his remaining term, but the real problem, that TML fans don't want to admit, is that we have an LTIR cap hit in Horton for the next 2 years.
