Description

The Sens are out of the playoff race. They need to retool and it first and foremost starts with getting rid of Cody Ceci, which for whatever reason is a coveted defensemen with "upside". Brassard to the jets for a 1st (probably a 25-31 pick) and Petan; flip Petan to the rebuilding Coyotes for fellow Swede and solid dman Hjalmarsson(keep Karlsson happy) and a 2nd rounder. Burrows, Oduya, Condon get rid of them... The rest of the season play the lineup as below. In the summer sign Aaron Dell to play 50-50 with Andy and eventually take over. And if Colin White or Logan Brown is not ready to take over as the 2nd line center, then sign Joe Thorton for a couple years (he probably won't take less than two years). Sign Karlsson to his max contract and give Duchene and Stone the eight million a year they deserve. Also peep at all the picks for the future, we can all dream.

I don't believe that TB sells their 3rd best goal scorer of this season. Gourde should be pretty much untouchable until the draft
