I can see some of these players be traded but the destinations don't make any sense here.
Why would they make a deadline-trade with Ottawa for players that are signed for several more years. They can make that in the summer instead. Why would Edmonton have interest in Goldobin? Yes Caggiula can be sacrificed for help right now but this isn't the trade that will help Oilers or Canucks.
I'd love to see Nilsson get the chance in Toronto, I think he'd make a decent job there. But I can't see Vancouver giving him away since he's been a good and cheap back-up for them so Demko can develope in the AHL. He might get dangled next deadline but not this year.
