The best aspect of this scenario is the plausible nature.
Green is a perfect right side fit on a team that needs back end puck movement.
Krieder is NOT the kicker, but would compliment McJesus well, likely.
Well done.

I don’t mind Kreider, but with his added health issues, blood clot ordeal, I probably wouldn’t trade assets like Benson and a 2nd for him. Would probably hold out to get a guy like Grabner on McDavid’s line, Kreider is a fast and strong power forward, he could be the advanced version of what Lucic was supposed to be, but idk if it’s worth it with other options out there.

you wouldnt trade Benson for Kreider because of Kreiders health issues? do u see the irony in that or did it go over your head?

I get that Benson has played most of his junior career injured, so cool it kid. But why would we trade one of the only players we have as prospects that has a good chance of being a top 6 player.

Are you not aware of the season he’s having in the WHL or...?

But yea, take a soon to be 27 year old 4.6 mill winger with health issues, lmao.. good one.

IDK.. I've been a Benson fan since before his WHL days but even if he is going to make it top 6 in the NHL he is years away. Personally, I would jettison him now for someone whom is a veteran NHL player that is fast enough and shoots enough to play with McDavid starting next year. We will have enough youth coming into the line up in the next few years as it is. The oilers need to be in a win now mode not hoping the future on youth who have underpreformed for there age or have had setbacks.
