I think Tavares will get paid a little more, and you didn’t do the Boumeester LTIR correctly. If you redo it, you’ll have the proper amount of cap to pay Tavares more. Looks like a filthy team though.

Berglund and Sobotka are basically cap dumps. I dont see the value there for Ottawa at all. I agree that Tavares will probably cost you more than that.

I highly doubt we sign Tavares then play him with Steen and Barbashev - that'd be silly. My guess would be re-signing Fabbri for a very low amount ($1.25mm or so for 1 year). Then you play Fabbri/Tavares/ Hoffman as your 2nd line.

Also though, I doubt we would go for Duchene since we want to play Thomas as that 3C next year. Getting Hoffman would probably cost Kostin + 1st + 2nd + Sobotka or Berglund.
