LTIR isn't working properly because it's still recognizing the current cap of $75 M, not the 80 you plugged in. But... to take advantage of LTIR for Horton, you should have waited until you were right about $75 M with players on the roster before putting him on LTIR. That way it would reduce your cap hit almost his entire $5.3 M.

Good lineup though, very realistic. I have similar. I did the same with Martin and traded Marleau back to San Jose in his final year in order to free up his cap hit to sign a Dman. Still working on my defense.

Tavares will NOT sign for under 10 million. And why do so many Leaf fans think the leafs should sign him? Wait one more year and go after a top Dman like Doughty.
