Description

Hopefully this is close to what actually happens. Tyutin is traded to San Jose and CBJ take back Brown, Wingels and Stalock to even cap hits, but Stalock and Brown can be let go via free agency in offseason to lessen blow to CBJ cap hit. Wingels could play 2nd line right wing. Hartnell traded to Anaheim for a 6th round pick to ensure CBJ retain no salary what so ever. Calvert traded to Chicago along with a 2017 3rd round pick to reacquire Dano. Calvert would bring a left wing threat and great penalty killing skills to Chicago. Getting Dano back would help fill CBJ void at center position. In addition, Bourque and Prout would be let go via free agency in offseason for following year as well. This nearly 16 million in cap space would be used to sign Jenner, Jones, Karlsson and Palliota to extensions (hopefully long term deals for Jones and Jenner). I will have a follow up roster for 2016-17 season to this as well.

Yes, finally someone with some logic!

I would just hope we could get a smidge better for Hartsy without retaining salary. He is still performing and need to strike now before age catches up.

I would not mind trading JMFJ if the return is OK.

I wonder if Minny would give up Brodin while he is injured . . .

If only we didn't have Clarkson . . .
